A Globo ainda tenta tirar uma casquinha do sucesso de Cheias de Charme. O trio As Empreguetes, que fez sucesso na novela de Filipe Miguez e Izabel de Oliveira, poderá protagonizar um dos especiais que a emissora tradicionalmente traz à sua programação a cada final de ano.
A ideia inicial era produzir um seriado semanal ressuscitando as personagens, mas as atrizes Isabelle Drummond (Cida), Taís Araújo (Penha) e Leandra Leal (Rosário) estão receosas de se envolverem no projeto. Elas temem não repetir em outro programa o mesmo sucesso da novela. Até o momento, o único retorno confirmado das Empreguetes será no show de fim de ano de Roberto Carlos, onde as Empreguetes cantarão algumas músicas com o Rei.
Além disso, a Globo estuda a possibilidade de comercializar via Internet as canções interpretadas pelos personagens de Cheias de Charme, como Xote da Brabuleta, de Cláudia Abreu (Chayene), e Vou Matar Esse Amor Dentro de Mim, de Leandra Leal. Isso supriria a demanda de um CD com essas faixas inéditas, o qual não teria sido lançado por questões contratuais.
