Vencedor de oito prêmios literários nacionais e internacionais, o livro “O Filho Eterno” (Editora Record, 2007), do escritor Cristovão Tezza, ganhou versão teatral homônima e vem emocionando o público por onde passa, desde 2011, tanto que rendeu ao protagonista Charles Fricks uma das maiores honrarias do teatro brasileiro: o Prêmio Shell de melhor ator, em 2012. E agora essa brilhante atuação de Fricks poderá ser vista no palco do Teatro Sesc Teresópolis nesta quarta-feira, dia 17/7, às 20h. A atração integra a programação do Festival Sesc Rio de Inverno 2013 e custa R$ 5 (associado Sesc Rio), R$ 10 (estudantes e idosos) e R$ 20 (inteira), com venda direcionada pelo site do festival.
Com adaptação para o teatro assinada por Bruno Lara Resende e a direção, por Daniel Herz, a peça mostra a luta diária de um homem que precisa lidar com as decepções que um filho pode trazer, focando no desafio das suas limitações, mas sem perder o olhar elegante. Frases de impacto e inesperadas conferem um tom poético à trama, liberando de amarras os pensamos represados que muitas pessoas nessa situação jamais teriam coragem de transformar em palavras. A chegada do primeiro filho com síndrome de down é apenas uma das diversas reflexões que envolvem a paternidade e são abordadas nessa premiada história.
A montagem também rendeu a Márcia Rubin o Prêmio Shell na categoria especial Direção de Movimento e a Aurélio de Simoni a indicação à categoria Melhor Iluminação. Além do Shell, a peça acumula uma série de outras indicações: Faz Diferença, Prêmio APTR, Prêmio Qualidade Brasil, Questão de Critica e Prêmio QUEM, para o ator Charles Fricks, e Prêmio Orilaxé, para o diretor Daniel Herz. “O Filho Eterno” é uma produção da companhia carioca Atores de Laura, que desde 1992 vem se apresentando no Brasil e no exterior, em festivais em Lyon (França) e Córdoba (Argentina). Tem no seu repertório 19 montagens teatrais – sendo duas para crianças (“A casa bem-assombrada”, 1998, e a premiada “A flauta mágica”, 1999).
