Depois do sucesso de bilheteria “Hitchcock” e do filme a “Garota” – ambos ilustrando a história do mestre do suspense-, chega ao canal A & E a série ” Bates Motel”, dos mesmos produtores de “Lost”. Contando com Vera Farmiga e Freddie Higmore nos papeis principais.
Em seu primeiro episódio que veio ao ar nos Estados Unidos dia 18 de março, ” Bates Motel” bateu todos os recordes de audiência da emissora, e os produtores prometem que a série irá manter o mesmo sucesso ate o fim.
A história mostra o protagonista de “Psicose”(Norman Bates) em um novo ângulo, ilustrando a adolescência do futuro assassino e a relação conflituosa e doentia com sua mãe.
Outra grande surpresa da série é que o enredo irá se passar em tempos atuais. Uma das histórias de maior sucesso do gênio Alfred Hitchcock só que dessa vez na era digital.
Fator super interessante é que a série burlou a fase “piloto teste”, já tendo sido produzidos e lançados 10 episódios da primeira temporada para a emissora. Ainda não tem data de estreia definida no Brasil.
