Será que as comunidades médica e teatral são capazes de se unir para chegar a um diagnóstico e tratamento? Este é o convite feito aos espectadores do espetáculo “9”, peça do coletivo Delicadas Criaturas, que estreia, dia 24 de agosto, no Auditório do Instituto de Psiquiatria da UFRJ, em Botafogo. Com direção de Demetrio Nicolau, a dramaturgia de Demetrio e Nara Keiserman acompanha a história de uma ex-atriz de 85 anos, que trabalhou com Dulcina de Morais e Bibi Ferreira, e começa a desenvolver múltiplas personalidades após sofrer um episódio traumático. O diagnóstico oscila entre esquizofrenia e transtorno dissociativo de identidade. Em determinados momentos, ela consegue sair de seu estado catatônico para representar, de maneira compulsiva, personagens femininos clássicos da literatura dramática.
No monólogo, a atriz Nara Keiserman vive nove personagens, a partir de textos de Brecht, Molière, Shakespeare, Sófocles e outros. Esses textos contemplam as 9 rasa, que são as emoções despertadas pela fruição estética, segundo o Natyasastra, clássico indiano sobre performance. São elas, em tradução livre do sânscrito: sringara (amor, erotismo), raudra (raiva, irritação), karuna (tristeza, compaixão), bhayanaka (medo, terror), bibhatsa (repugnância, nojo), vira (coragem, virilidade), hasya (riso, cômico), adbhuta (maravilhamento, admiração), e santa (serenidade, paz).
“Notamos que há uma grande tendência e interesse por peças que falam sobre comportamentos desenvolvidos a partir de transtornos psíquicos, e ficamos com vontade de montar uma peça sobre o tema justamente no Instituto de Psiquiatria. Aliado a isso, vamos trabalhar os elementos chave do rasaboxes, método de treinamento para o ator criado pelo encenador norte-americano Richard Schechner, que passa por nove emoções diferentes. Na peça, há nove textos e expressam nove emoções distintas”, explica o diretor Demetrio Nicolau.
Na encenação, a ex-atriz Laura Gomes, vivida por Nara, será levada ao centro do palco, em cenário, luz e figurino minimalistas, onde suas diferentes identidades serão manifestadas. Elas personalidades nascem das personagens de peças teatrais de diferentes gêneros (tragédia, comédia, drama) que ela representou ou gostaria de ter representado na sua juventude, sendo alguns facilmente reconhecíveis – e o público será convidado a tentar lembrar esses grandes personagens.
“Quando Demetrio teve a ideia para a peça fiquei logo superanimada. Nove personagens, nove emoções, nove clássicos! Um desafio, uma alegria. Em “9”, a voz veio antes. Decidida a voz das personagens, cada corpo foi se desenhando. Os desafios foram: encontrar a sonoridade emocional especificidade de cada uma e, uma vez acertada, manter. Ir encontrando, a partir da voz, uma postura, os detalhes gestuais adequados. E manter. O grande desafio é a disponibilidade, a entrega para vivenciar as nove emoções que se manifestam, se tornam concretas no meu corpo que soa, no meu corpo musical”, desenvolve Nara.
O espetáculo é o terceiro projeto do coletivo Delicadas Criaturas, fundado em 2021 pelo diretor Demetrio Nicolau, pelos atores e professores Nara Keiserman e Marcus Fritsch e pelo cenógrafo e figurinista Carlos Alberto Nunes. Como o nome indica, nasceu da vontade de insistir na delicadeza como a marca das relações interpessoais em níveis particulares e sociais. Há a busca por uma cena que toque em temas fundamentais, tratados de forma afetiva, manifestada nos gestos e nas vozes. Leva-se em conta que a possibilidade de tocar e emocionar o espectador requer uma espécie de suspensão, para que se possa escutar mais devagar, pensar mais devagar, de modo a cultivar a atenção e a delicadeza.
